Diana Rutechura


Diana Rutechura is a Programme Officer for Gender and Civil Society Mobilisation at EAC Secretariat, for the last seven years. Her work involves integrating a gender perspective into EAC organs and institutions’ programmes and projects to enhance community empowerment, people centeredness, gender responsiveness and to create opportunities to harness potentials necessary for equitable and sustainable development in the EAC.

Diana has a Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) Degree in Marketing Management form the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and a post-graduate degree, Hon. BA (Development Studies) from the University of South Africa. She is currently pursuing her MA (International Cooperation and Development) with the Open University of Tanzania.
